📋 Description

• Liquibase is the leader in Database DevOps. • Downloaded more than 100 million times. • We seek a skilled and experienced Technical Writer to join Liquibase’s Customer Enablement team. • You'll write content that enables highly technical users to streamline and automate their database change management tasks. • You'll use your experience writing task-based content in an Agile development environment to guide content through all stages of the content lifecycle. • You will work with Liquibase’s Product Team to understand how changes to the product roadmap align with the user journey, user goals, and business outcomes. • You’ll work directly with our development team to understand how the product is changing. • You will empathize with our customers by harmonizing details with clarity and warmth to make our content more welcoming. • You will guide them and be invisible at the same time. • As a highly skilled, collaborative writer, you will be able to switch gears with ease. • As a self-directed, fast learner, you will be a pro at keeping up with the latest technology and technical writing trends.

🎯 Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience writing technical documentation with a portfolio of writing samples that exemplify your abilities as a Technical Writer. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong knowledge of technical writing fundamentals, industry-standard writing styles, and content organization. • Ability to learn complex concepts quickly and explain them with clarity and technical accuracy. • Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. • Ability to establish rapport and working relationships with various personalities, working across multiple time zones. • Detail-oriented with a high sense of responsibility for outcomes and passion about the impact of what you develop. • Experience writing for a technical audience – Developers, DBAs, and DevOps Engineers • Working knowledge of databases and DevOps technologies. • Bachelor’s degree in English, Interface or Instructional Design, Computer Science, or related field preferred, with 4 years of experience writing technical, procedural, and conceptual materials; or equivalent education and experience to successfully perform the job's essential duties.
