📋 Description

• LivePerson is currently seeking a creative and talented professional to join our team as a Backend Engineer (Java/Node.js) as part of our Conversation Exchange Services team. • Own the design and implementation of significant portions of the product development • Help set the features, architecture, and best practices of the team, and have significant influence on our overall strategy. • Create a reliable, scalable, and high performance service requiring exceptional technical expertise. • Be somebody who enjoys working on complex system software, is customer-centric, and feels strongly about building good software. • Drive the execution and delivery of features by collaborating with various stakeholders. • Build, scale and maintain critical features of the Enterprise platform used by millions of users. • Understand customer/business requirements and translate them to elegant platform capabilities. • Collaborate with external integration partners and come up with integration solutions. • Participate in product roadmap discussions, represent in architecture review boards, and advise product management team.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Java at scale. • Experience with large-scale distributed microservices architecture. • Past experience working with end-to-end product mission-driven teams. • Solid understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs. • Hands-on with CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and production readiness. • Self-motivated and enthusiastic about the end customer experience. • Experience with globally distributed teams in multiple time zones is a plus. • Willingness to participate in paid on-call duty approximately every 4 weeks, in alignment with our "You Build It, You Run It" philosophy. • A strong sense of quality, personal responsibility, and a passion for development.
