• Lochmueller group is seeking an experienced and energetic Roadway/Highway Design Project Engineer to join our dynamic and growing Roadway/Highway Design team. • As a Roadway Design Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the infrastructure that connects communities. • Ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation solutions that positively impact people's daily lives for years to come. • This is an excellent opportunity to work in a remote capacity for a growing firm with a great workplace culture and significant growth opportunity. • This position can be based anywhere in South Carolina. • Lochmueller Group provides multi-disciplined services for a variety of public agencies and private entities. • Our transportation design team offers a variety of services, but most of our work involves roadway and bridge design for various local agencies and state DOT’s. • For over 40 years, Lochmueller Group has helped communities reinvent their future through thoughtful, actionable planning and design. • Our dedication to building a team that demonstrates our corporate values (CARDIA) is what sets us apart.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a similar engineering field • 5+ years of relevant roadway/highway design engineering experience – open to candidates with more experience • Experience working on SCDOT roadway design projects • Professional Engineer (PE) license • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation • Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment • Demonstrated ability to work well in a remote work environment
