Description
• Develop, review and contribute to test plans, test scenarios and test cases • Perform effective manual testing to ensure the product’s stability and performance • Designing automatable test cases and act as a bridge between Automation squad by ensuring testability and automatability • Build a deep understanding of the Lodgify application, as well as a strong intuition around our architecture and codebase to guide your sense for common issues that may arise • Ensure the software meets all requirements of quality including reliability, usability, and performance • Collaborate and work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle • Own communication throughout the sprint/release cycle, quality and delivery of the entire feature • Document, report and track all identified bugs, inconsistencies and issues • Evaluate the efficiency of existing QA processes and recommend improvements • Analyze, review and assess requirements and design specifications • Work closely with the Product Manager.
Requirements
• 4+ year experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer • Ability to speak, write and read technical documentation in English • A clear understanding of the testing methodology and STLC lifecycle • Foundational knowledge in test automation to be able to debug the test results. • Ability to report defects and document clearly • Demonstrate a strong sense of attention to detail in test execution and defect reporting • Problem-solving and result-driven • End-user empathy and understanding of the business strategy • Good knowledge of API testing (Postman), Client-Server architecture, debugging, capturing and diagnosing server logs
