Description

• The Quality Engineering (QE) Team ensures adequate test coverage for Lucidworks products. • The Lead Quality Engineer oversees effectiveness of manual and automated tests and contributes to the automation framework. • This role collaborates with cross-functional teams and drives overall quality and success of software projects. • Ideal candidates have strong test planning and project management skills, and a desire to learn new testing challenges.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with expertise in writing automated tests for Java Applications and API calls. • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in automated testing, with proficiency in automation and testing tools. • Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to stakeholders. • Proficient in coding with Python or Golang in a Kubernetes environment. Strong understanding of distributed systems is essential. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong understanding of distributed systems. • Experience in UI automation, performance testing, and Java programming. Familiarity with operational monitoring tools is a plus. • Experience with large-scale cloud platforms, preferably public clouds or Openshift. • Must be authorized to work in the United States full-time for any employer.
