Description

• Maintains and controls the general ledger accounts • Prepares financial statements • Assists with the generation and preparation of complex monthly financial reports • Serves as the first line of defense for accounting issues • Trains, supports, and shares knowledge with junior team members • Prepares complex reconciliations for month-end close • Reconciles complex balance sheet accounts for various financial statement areas • Assists in preparation of weekly Cash Forecast • Prepares weekly and monthly Bank Reconciliations • Provides problem-solving support to junior team members • Assists with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings • Works directly with external auditors • Tracks Capital Expenditures and maintains depreciation schedule • Participates in internal control initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/related field or equivalent • 5+ years of relevant accounting experience • Strong understanding of Accounting and financial operations best practices • Sharp communication skills • Proficient with MS Office Suite • Ability to support implementing process improvements and initiatives • Strong interpersonal, research, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills • Effective training and mentoring skills • Required to pass a credit check • Experience with NetSuite is a plus
