• ABOUT LVT: LVT is on a mission to make the world safer and more secure through rapidly deployable security hardware that runs on our proprietary SaaS platform. • ABOUT THIS ROLE: As a Staff Backend Software Engineer at LVT, you will play a critical role in developing solutions with a team of talented software engineers. • RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of software engineers. • Identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and implement tools and methodologies to optimize software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field • 7+ years of professional development experience, with a focus on backend/API development. • 3+ years of professional development experience in Node.js/Typescript with a track record of building and maintaining Node.js production services. • Excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges amidst ambiguous requirements • An obsession with completeness and quality. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and switch between priorities quickly. • Experience with agile software development methodologies and familiarity with related tools and processes. • Desired • GraphQL query and mutation implementation and optimization • NestJS server development framework • Docker, Kubernetes and related CI/CD tools • SQL experience preferred
