📋 Description

• We are seeking a knowledgeable and strategic Certification Engineering Manager to lead our certification team in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and certification requirements, particularly in the aerospace industry. • This role will oversee the certification process, guide engineers in adhering to DO-178 and DO-254 standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes. • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development processes, regulatory compliance, and leadership, with a proven ability to manage complex certification efforts efficiently.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in aerospace certification, with a strong background in DO-178C or DO-254. • Proven leadership experience, managing certification efforts within software development teams. • Expertise in certification processes, including preparing and reviewing certification artifacts, supporting compliance activities, and leading certification strategies. • Strong understanding of safety assessments, system engineering practices, and quality assurance standards. • Experience leading external audits, ensuring projects meet regulatory and certification requirements. • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to convey complex certification concepts to internal teams and regulatory bodies. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. • Ability to write, review, and approve complex technical documentation with clarity and precision. • Fluent in American English (spoken and written).
