Description

•The Principal IT Business Analyst acts as a liaison between IT and business units across Magellan HealthCare (MHC). •Responsible for translating requirements into specifications involving appropriate technologies. •Investigation and documentation of various work processes. •Developing proof of concepts to demonstrate work flows and gain user/stakeholder buy in. •Customer-facing experience as a Sr. Business Systems Analyst. •Analyzing data requirements to determine if needed data already exists in clinical systems. •Collaborating with business stakeholders, developers, analysts, data architects, database administrators and business analysts to meet business needs. •Ensuring data quality is maintained by identifying data integration errors and working to improve data quality. •Providing support to integration developers by documenting rules and procedures required to transform, process and load solution data. •Clear impediments and escalate issues when needed. •Drive usability and quality of the software developed within the area.

Requirements

•7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst / Technical Business Analyst •6+ years related experience including a minimum of 3+ years of delivering requirements and testing in support of high quality, secure software in IT. •Good presentation and communication skills. •Highly collaborative. •Ability to execute on strategies to solve complex and open-ended business problems. •Lead prototyping of potential solutions. •Perform implementation reviews. •Lead support of resolution of technical challenges. •Proactive, can-do attitude. •Take responsibility for ensuring success of all implementation. •Technically proficient and hands-on. •Mastery of QA methodology and problem solving tools/techniques. •Experience with applying Design Thinking Techniques. •Critical Thinker. •Strong presentation skills. •Creativity and show initiative.
