Description
• Develop and execute the company’s legal strategy in alignment with business goals. • Advise the executive team on a broad range of legal matters, including commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, litigation, and mergers & acquisitions. • Lead and mentor the internal legal team. • Monitor, interpret, and advise on legal developments across multiple jurisdictions relevant to Maltego’s products. • Ensure strict compliance with all applicable laws, particularly data privacy and protection regulations. • Provide counsel to the management team on corporate governance matters. • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts. • Identify, assess, and develop strategies to mitigate legal risks. • Manage and protect Maltego’s intellectual property portfolio. • Collaborate with key departments to provide tailored legal support and ensure cohesive operations.
Requirements
• Completion of a law degree from an accredited institution • 10+ years of PQE (qualified in EU/UK/US) as in-house counsel at the GC level (preferred) or in a law firm with relevant legal experience, preferably in a global context. • Demonstrated ability to balance business growth with risk management. • Strong commercial acumen, delivering business-focused legal solutions. • Proven experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation. • Leadership experience with a track record of mentoring and leading cross-functional teams. • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • High ethical standards and integrity.
