Description

•This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Fund Accountant to join a company that is the Capital for the Change Makers. •Company founded in 2003, partners with exceptional entrepreneurs, emphasizing the role of people in success. •The Sr. Fund Accountant will oversee fund accounting, provide strategic insights, supervise the Associate Fund Accountant, and contribute to improving financial processes. •Duties include reviewing quarterly NAV closing, validating fund expenses, preparing investor statements, ensuring compliance, collaborating with auditors, and assisting in tax compliance tasks.

Requirements

•Bachelors degree in Accounting; CPA certification strongly preferred •Should have 6 – 8 years of fund accounting experience; Must be from Private Equity industries •Experience working directly with US audit teams is advantageous •Must have prior experience with US GAAP or IFRS •Strong analytical and interpersonal skills •Detail-oriented, flexible, and capable of working under pressure •Ability to manage both routine and complex tasks simultaneously •Self-motivated and able to work independently, handling tasks with minimal instruction while understanding the strategic purpose behind them. •Proficiency in reviewing financial statements and capital statements with accuracy and attention to detail •Strong organizational skills to document and present information clearly for efficient review by leadership •Should be proficient in MS Suite, especially Excel, Adobe and any relevant reporting tools
