📋 Description

• Mantel is seeking an Engineering Manager to support the engineering, development and execution of cutting-edge carbon capture technology using molten salts as a novel CO₂ sorbent material. • This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and hands-on leader to build and manage a high-performing engineering team, oversee complex engineering projects, and drive the successful design, commissioning, and operation of Mantel’s early projects. • As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for hiring, training, and mentoring engineers, setting project budgets and timelines, and leading teams in testing, troubleshooting, and developing new systems. • You will also collaborate with EPC firms, partner site engineers, and OEMs to ensure successful project execution, system integration, and long-term optimization. • Mantel is looking for a problem solver who can think outside the box and work well both independently and within a team environment.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in engineering roles, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership position. • Experience in hiring, training, and managing engineering teams in a high-tech or industrial environment. • Experience in collaborating with EPCs, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams. • Experience with construction, commissioning, and startup of industrial process equipment.
