📋 Description
• MARA is the world’s largest Bitcoin miner committed to sustainability. • Looking for a skilled Renewable Energy Associate Asset Manager to manage renewable energy assets. • Responsible for optimizing asset performance and ensuring compliance with obligations. • Manage relationships with operations teams, off-takers, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Finance, Engineering, Environmental Science). • 2-4 years of experience in renewable energy asset management or energy related field, ideally with exposure to wind, solar, demand response, settlements, or storage projects. • Proven experience with PPAs, energy markets, and asset optimization. • Knowledge and experience with REC management. • Knowledge of energy settlements, credit management, and market risk. • Familiarity with NERC, FERC, and ISO regulations. • Experience managing third-party relationships, including O&M providers, off-takers, and lenders. • Strong understanding of insurance requirements, regulatory compliance, and property tax issues related to renewable energy projects. • Ability to manage complex contracts and resolve disputes. • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
