Description

• Assist the SRE Lead Engineer in establishing SRE processes across the organisation. • Design, develop, and implement cloud infrastructure using IAC tooling. • Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency. • Implement and improve robust monitoring and alerting systems. • Work with development team and build process to ensure tools and automation is in place to ensure reliable and quality code deployments. • Respond to Incidents and improve platform based on feedback and measure the reduction of incidents over time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field. • Experience in cloud technologies and operations • Experience in monitoring/alerting tools • Hands-on experience in industry standard CI/CD tools and IAC tools • Experience with k8s • 3+ DevOps, SRE, or general systems engineering experience. • 3+ years of Experience in running production systems. • Strong coding ability and a solid grasp of SQL fundamentals • Problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive. • Stakeholder management • Nice to have DevSecOps experience • Risk management experience • Experience with performing data analysis, data observability, data ingestion and data integration
