• Oversee and strategically lead Maropost’s revenue cycle operations, driving innovation and integration to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all billing processes. • Manage accounts receivable, collections, and reconciliations of applicable accounts, as well as overseeing deferred and accrued revenue. • Lead and mentor a team of 4 direct reports, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. • Drive the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to optimize the billing process and improve efficiency. • Reconcile applicable accounts, including revenue-related accounts, deferred revenue, and accrued revenue. • Develop and maintain billing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory mandates. • Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency improvements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and operations, to ensure accurate invoicing and smooth revenue cycle operations. • Lead efforts in acquisition integration, ensuring seamless transitions and alignment with corporate objectives. • Handle complex customer escalations and inquiries related to billing. • Prepare, update, and present revenue and billing reports to senior leadership. • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to billing and revenue operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CA preferred). • 5+ years of experience overseeing the billing process in a SaaS environment is highly preferred. • Proven expertise in revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and accrual accounting. • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to billing, collections, and financial reporting. • Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems (Experience in Stripe and NetSuite would be advantageous). • Proficiency in CRM Software (Experience in Salesforce and HubSpot would be advantageous). • Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
