• As Marqeta’s GTM Strategy & Operations Senior Manager, you will help build and execute the strategy and operations for a best-in-class sales organization. • You will partner with Sales to use insights to develop internal sales processes and operational activities to maximize sales productivity. • You will cover core areas including reporting on sales performance and trends, working cross-functionally on initiatives to increase sales efficiency, and driving strategic planning.
• 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree • 8+ years of proven experience managing a best-in-class, complex Sales Operations function supporting aggressive revenue growth • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills including talent for conducting research, analyzing data, developing hypotheses, and synthesizing recommendations • Ability to not only think strategically, but also follow through in execution and operations • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an attention to detail • A proven ability to develop tactical initiatives that improve sales productivity and performance. • Self starter who is able to operate independently with minimal supervision • MBA or relevant degree (preferred) • Relevant industry experience (preferred) • Experience working cross-functionally and managing senior stakeholder relationships (preferred)
