• Develop complete engineering packages for aircraft avionics/electrical modifications • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop engineering for avionics systems • Generate/Interpret engineering drawings including Wiring Diagrams, Electrical Load Analysis, etc. • Provide on-site engineering support for aircraft modifications • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to avionics systems • Perform system testing, verification, and validation to ensure compliance with standards
• Five years or more experience in an airline avionics/electrical maintenance, or military aviation environment • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university, or equivalent experience/training • Familiarity with 14 CFR regarding Part 121 airline operations and Part 145 maintenance • Fluent in English • Familiarity with aircraft systems: Communications, Navigation, Auto Flight, etc. • Knowledge of airworthiness certification processes (FAA, EASA, etc.) • Previous experience on commercial airline modification programs highly preferred • Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, AutoCAD, and customized company software programs • Strong analytical and organizational skills
