Description
• As Founder's Associate, you’ll work directly with the CEO and functional leaders. • You’ll play a critical role in scaling the business, particularly its financial capabilities. • Support the CEO on, and eventually own, financial modelling, forecasting and document preparation for fundraising activities. • Work with functional leaders to create, manage and track budgets. • Own the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. • Lead and continuously improve the month-end close process including balance sheet reconciliations. • Prepare for and lead annual audit as key contact.
Requirements
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification), preferably with experience in a top tier audit firm. • Strong experience with different accounting software (eg. Xero, SAGE etc.). • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and experiences. • Interest in learning about start-ups and working in investor-backed start-up/scale ups. • Passionate about the state of the world and making a positive impact.
