β€’ Job responsibilities include those listed in competencies document. β€’ Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. β€’ As a senior level team member, this role takes a lead position in analyzing clinical, business and/or technical processes and problems and formulating, and developing recommendations for new and modified systems that meet client and/or internal project requirements. β€’ Provides more advanced technical expertise than that of an Epic Applications Analyst I or II. β€’ Researches, analyzes, designs, and modifies software applications, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support implementation of one or more software modules, system preference modifications, documentation, training or sharing of system functions as appropriate. β€’ Serves as a liaison between the IT Department, vendors and clients for multiple systems/applications. β€’ Gathers and works with departments to prioritize development initiatives and activities. β€’ Provides analysis of workflow, recommends solutions, and implements application solutions to meet department needs. β€’ Provides technical/application assistance to clients and IT staff as appropriate. β€’ Performs financial analysis/business plan/impact assessment. β€’ Manages system upgrades and large projects. β€’ Develops a timeline for implementation and ensures that all steps are taken to close all outstanding issues regarding the new implementation. β€’ Functions as a lead department contact and provides project management support as required. β€’ Completes tasks on time and meets assignment dates. β€’ Ensures system changes follow change management procedures and protocols. β€’ Creates and maintains all documentation for all assigned applications, and develop, plan and execute testing for supported applications. β€’ Participates in support for systems both daily and during implementations. β€’ Participates in an on-call rotation schedule, to include daily, after hours, weekends, providing 24x7 client support as necessary. β€’ Works collaboratively with IT Educators to ensure system feature and function modifications are shared with educators so training plans and documentation can be updated appropriately. β€’ Serves as a mentor to Epic Applications Analyst I and Epic Applications Analyst II and supervises work efforts as directed by Manager. β€’ Occasional travel to other offices to accommodate user needs. β€’ Occasional travel for training classes, implementations and conferences

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Minimum of four years of Epic build experience. β€’ Minimum of six years of computer system application modifications and support experience. β€’ Minimum of six years of PC-oriented experience to include basic word processing and spreadsheets. β€’ Project Management experience desired. β€’ Presentation, communication and interpersonal skills required. β€’ Ability to multi-task. Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education: β€’ Epic Certification or Accreditation. β€’ Minimum of an Associate degree in Healthcare/Computer Science/Business from an accredited school or equivalent work experience
