Description

β€’ The Call Center Representative serves callers by professionally answering inquiries β€’ Researching and resolving problems β€’ Collecting self-pay balances β€’ Respond to patient inquiries, requests, and disputes over the phone β€’ Process patient credit card payments over the phone β€’ Possess basic working knowledge of healthcare claims processing β€’ Uses the GE and Epic workflow systems and other tools available β€’ Ability to analyze, identify and resolve issues on patient accounts β€’ Act cooperatively and courteously with patients, visitors, co-workers, management and clients β€’ Adheres to the policies and procedures established for the client/team β€’ Meets and maintains daily productivity standards established in departmental policies β€’ Ability to maintain composure when handling particularly difficult calls with customers β€’ Perform all other tasks related to Call Center Department areas of responsibilities

Requirements

β€’ High school diploma or equivalent required β€’ Previous experience in Hospital/Facility or Physician billing β€’ English-speaking proficiency is required; Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required β€’ Experience with GE Centricity or EPIC PB preferred β€’ Ability to work well individually and in a team environment β€’ Proficiency with MS Office β€’ Strong verbal communication skills β€’ Strong organizational skills β€’ Ability to maintain composure when handling particularly difficult calls with customers
