• Responsible for maintaining an effective compliance program • Works with management for guidance • Obtains, maintains and reviews new licenses and renewals • Researches state and federal laws and regulations • Interfaces with regulatory authorities • Collaborates with management on compliance initiatives • Supports HIPAA compliance efforts • Manages projects by planning and auditing deliverables • Monitors state’s changing healthcare regulations • Reads and interprets contracts and legal documents
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and job related experience) in a related field • At least three (3) to five (5) years job related experience working in healthcare or managed care regulatory compliance experience • Communication and analytical skills • Working knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH requirements and related training initiatives strongly preferred
