Description

• Responsible for maintaining an effective compliance program for MedImpact services • Obtains, maintains and reviews new licenses and reporting requirements • Researches state and federal laws and tracks legislation impacting the company • Interfaces with regulatory authorities regarding compliance • Supports HIPAA compliance efforts and monitors company practices related to regulatory compliance • Manages assigned projects by planning and auditing deliverables • Reads, analyzes, and interprets contracts and legal documents • Monitors changes in healthcare/pharmacy regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and job related experience) in a related field • At least three (3) to five (5) years job related experience working in healthcare or managed care regulatory compliance experience • PBM experience preferred • (Level II) Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in a related field • At least five (5) to seven (7) plus years’ job related experience working in pharmacy benefit management, healthcare or managed care regulatory compliance • Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook proficiency • Working knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH requirements strongly preferred • Strong listening skills and ability to convey compliance information clearly
