Description

• Primarily subject matter expert responsible for reliable operations of databases • Work with engineering teams to improve database interaction • Manage AWS resources for optimal database performance • Assist team managers with planning roadmaps and following agile practices • Help troubleshoot on active incident calls • Maintain and evolve the disaster recovery strategy for core databases

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience administering database systems • Strong experience in MongoDB • 3+ years working in cloud-first environments, ideally AWS • Strong Linux operating system fundamentals • Understanding of administering infrastructure as code using Terraform, Pulumi or CDK • Experience working with containerized platforms, ideally Kubernetes • Passion to collaborate and support others
