📋 Description
• Write, test, debug, and ship quality code as part of our team initiatives • Communicate clearly about your work • Own tasks and keep them moving forward • Work with project leads to understand implementation goals and give feedback on requirements • Speak with product engineers to understand their use cases • With direction, find ways to improve systems at Mercury
🎯 Requirements
• 2 or more years of backend development experience on web-based systems • Persistent in the face of challenges • Balance tradeoffs and find creative solutions • Understand workflows of fellow engineers and empathetic toward their needs • Interested in interactions between systems • Demonstrates interest in growing skillset as an engineer • Experience working with Haskell or similar functional programming languages (nice to have) • Used PostgreSQL or another relational database (nice to have)
