📋 Description

• Support Mesh in complying with local and international regulations related to cryptocurrencies, digital assets, and the financial services industry • Work closely with the Head of Legal and the Chief Compliance Officer • Assist with the Company’s U.S. and international licensing and regulatory strategies • Assist Head of Legal with drafting thought leadership pieces and participating in policy initiatives • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with high-value clients, partners, employees and contractors • Assist with IP-related matters • Support the protection of proprietary technology and content • Provide general legal support across various departments • Respond to legal inquiries and provide guidance on routine legal matters • Keep up-to-date with trends and changes in crypto law, policy, and other relevant areas

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school • Active membership in good standing with the state bar association • 2-3 years of experience at an AmLaw 100 law firm or in-house legal department, ideally with exposure to the cryptocurrency, blockchain, fintech, or the tech industry • Excellent understanding of blockchain technology, crypto assets, and the legal challenges associated with the crypto industry • Familiarity with cross-border legal and regulatory frameworks related to crypto, digital assets, and other finance-related emerging technology • Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with key stakeholders • Ability to draft and negotiate contracts effectively • Clear ownership mentality and ability to work efficiently • Strong legal research and analytical skills • Sound judgment and ability to make decisions in high-pressure situations • Commitment to integrity, security, ethics, and fostering a culture of compliance within the organization
