Description

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives. • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals. • Oversee financial reporting and analysis, providing insights to inform decision-making. • Evaluate and manage financial risks, implementing appropriate controls and mitigation strategies. • Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial performance and drive operational efficiency. • Lead the preparation of financial presentations for stakeholders, including investors and board members. • Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory developments, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including financial institutions, auditors, and regulators. • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline financial operations and enhance productivity. • Oversee day-to-day accounting function including accounts payable and receivable, employee expense management and payroll and tax administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. • Prior experience in a senior finance role is a must. • Prior experience working at an early stage company preferred, and prior experience working in the fintech/blockchain industry a plus. • Strong understanding of financial principles and practices, with the ability to apply them in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. • Effective communicator and leader, with the ability to influence and inspire others. • Experience managing and developing finance teams, with a focus on mentorship and professional growth. • Familiarity with blockchain technology and its applications in finance is a plus.
