Description

• Conduct screening and intake with veterans on a range of legal issues • Under attorney supervision, answer questions and make referrals • Draft documents including advice letters and pleadings • Provide attorney casework support • Regular travel to VA clinics in service area

Requirements

• Comfortable and skilled at communicating with a wide range of backgrounds • Some college preferred or equivalent professional/life experience • Detail-oriented self-starters with strong organizational, time-management, and computer skills • Preference for candidates committed to serving low-income and underserved communities • Patience, empathy, and sensitivity are necessary • Veterans and those with prior legal experience encouraged to apply
