Description

• Prepare financial statements and analyses to facilitate company decision-making • Complete efficient monthly close, incorporating Milestone templates and tools • Prepare budgets and monitor performance against plan • Forecast short-term cash needs and manage costs • Assess internal control environment and implement process improvements • Maintain long-term projection models and explain outputs • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts monthly • Equity and cap table reconciliation • Communicate with owners/management regularly to establish performance expectations

Requirements

• Solid working knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement presentation • Passionate about technology and able to learn new software quickly • Advanced Excel skills • Able to organize time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients with minimal supervision • Experience working with nonprofit organizations is a plus • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA a plus • Minimum of 7 years of related experience
