Description

• Provide technical architecture support services that align with the VA's Enterprise Architecture (EA). • Perform system analysis and architecture support, evaluating legacy systems and requests for new products, software, and hardware infrastructure. • Deliver high-level architectural solutions and ensure compliance with organizational policies and strategic goals by conducting technical assessments. • Identify modernization opportunities and provide architectural recommendations to support seamless integration and system optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. • 5+ years of professional work experience. • 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements. • Extensive experience in design and development of IT architecture. • Experience must include a wide range of work in creating diagrams and documentation with all components that comprise IT systems including network topology. • Experience with developing technical/IT architecture, technical assessment, strategic planning, and risk management support. • Experience with developing and implementing solution and system technology architectures. • Able to plan, design and oversee deployment of complex enterprise-wide or large-scale information architectures.
