Description

• Implement processes and procedures for finance • Assist in corporate accounting phases • Manage accounts payable and payroll processes • Collaborate with billing team for treasury management • Prepare consolidated financial statements • Review Staff Accountant's work for accuracy • Manage bill.com and QuickBooks connection • Supervise semi-monthly payroll preparation • Ensure compliance with unemployment insurance/filings • Maintain documentation for accounting entries • Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations • Prepare journal entries and assist in monthly close • Recommend changes for accounting procedures • Maintain written accounting policies • Support for mergers and acquisitions • Assist in annual operating budget development • Partner with finance and leadership team for business optimization • Support data requests for audits and compliance requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred • Healthcare industry experience preferred • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP • 5-6+ years of progressive accounting experience • 1-3+ years of management experience of a team of 2-5 • In-house experience at a high growth company a plus • Knowledge of accounting principles, and mastery of accounting software (Quickbooks) • Detail-oriented and seeks increased responsibilities
