Description

• The Undergraduate Recruitment & Admissions Team leads recruitment efforts for Career Prep and is critical to the success of the program • Work closely with the Director of Undergraduate Recruitment & Admissions and the Associate Director, West Coast to execute an established recruitment plan leading to an increase in fellows for our Career Prep 2027 class and beyond • Work with the events, marketing, partnerships and communications departments to meet hiring requirements • Highly entrepreneurial and able to successfully function in a high-paced environment while juggling multiple priorities and working on new initiatives • Partner with and engage numerous internal MLT stakeholders and external stakeholders and must be a strong collaborator and influencer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years campus recruitment experience required • Experience turning data-driven analysis into employer / client recommendations • Strong analytical and creative thinking skills; ability to turn data into actionable insights; track record of innovative thinking / “thinking outside the box” • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously • Strong communications skills and experience creating client-friendly communications / recommendations in various formats (presentations, written documents, etc.) • Demonstrated presentation skills for all management levels internally and to external audiences • Previous experience building relationships with academic institutions and/or business development experience • Flexibility in dealing with ambiguity, an adaptive problem solver with strong attention to detail • Understanding of the corporate talent / Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion space • Commitment to MLT’s mission and values • Savvy to best practices and trends in social media and brand advertising • Salesforce, Survey Monkey (SM) Apply, Asana, and Hubspot experience is a plus

• Build MLT Brand and increase visibility within San Francisco • Identify and partner with key leaders on campuses to present MLT and our program offerings to them, their students & peers • Create events catered to building MLT Brand and Community • Partner with local NGOs to understand the San Francisco market and determine ways to collaborate • Offer professional development and college readiness workshops to high schools as appropriate • Regularly schedule office hours on campus to increase visibility and accessibility • Conduct in-class presentations, when permitted, to inform students about our program offerings • Partner with Events team to host events on and off campus • Partner with Ascend programmatic team to present workshops to high school students • College & Career Readiness, & Meet MLT Fellows workshops • Support local College Access Networks • Implement strategies to engage recruitment captains, MLT alumni and staff in campus recruitment efforts including tailoring and communicating MLT’s value proposition to different audiences • Contribute to the development of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting/dashboards for senior management to monitor efficacy of the MLT’s campus recruitment efforts/programs • Assist with other program-related activities as determined by the Director of College Programs Recruitment and Admissions • This position will require travel, typically around 30% on the low end, with travel frequency increasing from August to November during our peak recruiting season
