Description

• Provide thought leadership and participate in projects involving upstream and downstream data flows and processes. • Oversee the implementation of strategies designed to enhance data reliability and minimize redundancies while championing organizational behavior change related to data management. • Collaborating with multiple stakeholders, develop end-to-end solutions for data sourcing, processing, integration, and delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of applicable experience with 10+ years of specific IT experience in managing solution designs. • 5+ years of hands-on experience in lead roles architecting solutions at scale for cloud data platforms • 5 to 7 years of experience in Cloud database technologies. • Hands-on experience architecting and building secure, scalable, and flexible enterprise data projects in Microsoft Azure. • Experience with a breadth of Data Platforms, Data Integration tools, Databases, Big Data Platforms, Cloud-based data platforms, and Data Streaming technologies. • Strong understanding of modern Data Architectures and the ability to understand Data in the context of Business goals. • Experience in architecting and building cloud-based analytical data platforms (like Data Lakes, Lake Houses, Data Warehouses, etc.). • Experience with data integration services such as Azure Data Factory. • Proficiency in the design of batch and streaming data ingestion. • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to develop and conduct executive-level presentations. • Knowledge of Agency Management systems like Applied EPIC and Vertafore Sagitta, Benefit Point is a major plus. • Knowledge of Informatica – IICS task flows development and maintenance. • Data bricks experience and certification. • Microsoft Azure Data Engineer or other cloud certifications. • Experience with MongoDB or another NoSQL database, PostgreSQL, or any relational database. • Experience with business intelligence tools; Power BI or Qlik is preferred.
