Description

• We have an exciting opportunity for a DevOps Engineer with C# and .NET to join the IT team on a permanent basis for our customer dealing with settlement and power balancing across the whole UK bringing together the power producers along with the power consumers including industries and households to make sure all consumers have enough power available to use.

Requirements

• Must Have 5+ years experience in C#, ASP.NET, Azure AZ-104 and AZ-204 certificates, or equivalent experience. • A true DevOps mindset, who is competent at picking up development and/or bugfix tickets and implementing them during SCRUM sprints or Kanban workflow to a high standard, using best practices, with automated unit tests. • Understands the underlying cloud infrastructure enough that they don't require outside help for scripting IaaC, deploying/amending/troubleshooting the underlying Azure services (mostly PaaS components). • Experience in work with the following Azure services: Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus Queues and Topics, Azure API Management, Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake Store Gen2, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL DB, Azure Application Insights, Azure Key Vault (AZ-204). • Experience in developing web applications with the following stack: ASP.NET Core MVC, jQuery.
