Description

• Designing data visualizations and their implementation in the Insights product • Designing and implementation of Insights front end (React) • Assisting in implementing data pipelines using Apache Spark and Spark Streaming • Writing complex SQL queries for data analysis and reporting • Integrating Spark with Kafka for real-time data processing • Optimizing data storage and retrieval for performance and scalability • Participating in code reviews and contributing to best practices

Requirements

• 5-7 years of full-time experience in software development • Strong proficiency in React and modern Typescript • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services • Experience with SQL and relational databases • Comfort in a startup environment being relatively self-supported in a distributed cloud-based architecture • Ability to use a broad portfolio of open-source technologies and cloud services • Ability to work & collaborate effectively in a remote team environment • Clear written and verbal communications skills • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
