Description

• We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative specializing in newsletter monetization, ad inventory sales, and email marketing. • The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with advertisers and publishers, and negotiating and closing deals to maximize revenue from newsletter ad inventory. • This position will play a crucial part in our company's growth trajectory within the newsletter vertical.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience • 5+ years of relevant work experience in business development, sales, or a related role, ideally in the mobile app industry • 3+ years of relevant work experience in newsletter monetization, email marketing, or digital advertising sales • Familiarity with email marketing platforms, ad serving technologies, and analytics tools used in newsletter advertising • Start-up and mobile application experiences are highly desirable • Ability to identify and close new opportunities • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in the digital advertising space • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building meaningful relationships with advertisers and publishers • Attention to detail and organizational skills • Leadership skills, such as performing presentations, training, and mentoring • Proactive and determined approach to securing new business • Adept at identifying and pursuing new business prospects • Unwavering pursuit of sales targets and business growth • Assertive and strategic in seeking new business partnerships • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all levels of the organization • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of our products and services and how they create value for partners • Strong business acumen and excellent negotiation skills • Proactive attitude with excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills • Understanding of mobile app marketplace trends, user needs, and business goals • Proven work experience in newsletter monetization, email marketing, or digital advertising sales • Strong understanding of email marketing metrics, deliverability, and best practices • Experience with ad inventory management and pricing strategies for newsletter placements • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills specific to media buying and selling
