• The worldwide data management software market is massive. • MongoDB Education empowers developers through interactive learning, documentation, and community. • The Docs Content team authors product content in collaboration with product engineers. • The Program Management team provides project management and tracking on all key content and platform engineering programs. • This role involves managing larger content and engineering projects aligned with strategic direction.

Requirements

• Experienced in managing technical projects and working with full-stack development teams using a variety of project management techniques. • Experienced with 5+ years working in a technical capacity and/or in a project or program management role. • Trained in working with project tracking software (e.g. JIRA, Rally, MS Project, Trello). Advanced Jira experience and project admin experience is a huge plus. • Inspired to innovate in areas where automation can replace manual work. Programming proficiency with JIRA and Google Docs is a plus. • Excellent communication and storytelling skills; knowing when and how to share with the right audiences. • Experience managing organizational change, understanding how to bring people along the journey. • A coaching mindset; the ability to utilize project management methods to enable team functions. • Diplomatic negotiation style. • Natural leadership and problem-solving skills. • Keen sense of when to follow a process and when process is getting in the way or needs tweaking. • Proactive approach, pride of work, and passion for iterative workflow development. • Expertise in creative, flexible, effective ways to work with global teams.
