Description
• The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing and maintaining our financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. • The role involves categorizing expenses in QuickBooks, managing payroll, conducting monthly reconciliations, and assisting with budget analysis. • The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping for small businesses, preferably within the interior design or creative industry, and be adept at working with multiple state sales tax requirements.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in the interior design or creative industry. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software. • Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations. • Experience with multi-state sales tax management is a plus. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports, looking towards efficiencies and costs savings for the health of the business • Strong understanding of software and troubleshooting technology issues
