• Job Title: e-Commerce Bookkeeper • Location: Remote • Reports To: TBD • Work Shift: TBD • Working Hours: 40 hrs/week (Full-time) • Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented e-Commerce Bookkeeper to join our growing team. As an e-Commerce Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for accurately recording and reconciling financial transactions related to our e-Commerce operations. This role offers the flexibility of remote work and provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our e-Commerce business. • Key Responsibilities: • Transaction Recording: • Record and reconcile daily e-Commerce transactions accurately and in a timely manner. • Monitor and classify income, expenses, and other financial activities associated with e-Commerce operations. • Bank Reconciliation: • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a proactive manner. • Accounts Payable and Receivable: • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes specific to e-Commerce transactions. • Coordinate with vendors and customers to resolve payment-related issues. • Financial Reporting: • Prepare and generate regular financial reports related to e-Commerce activities. • Summarize financial data for management review and decision-making. • Tax Compliance: • Assist in preparing and filing tax returns related to e-Commerce transactions. • Stay updated on tax regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws. • Inventory Management: • Collaborate with the operations team to manage and reconcile e-Commerce inventory. • Conduct periodic audits to verify accuracy and completeness of inventory records. • Budgeting and Forecasting: • Support the development and monitoring of budgets related to e-Commerce operations. • Assist in forecasting financial trends and identifying potential areas for cost savings. • Financial Analysis: • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving e-Commerce profitability. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Relevant certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) is a plus. • Previous experience in an e-Commerce setting is highly desirable. • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, with a focus on e-Commerce transactions. • Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with a strong understanding of e-Commerce platforms. • Solid understanding of financial principles and practices. • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
