πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ We are currently seeking a Channel Presales Support Engineer (PSE) for our Northwest / Southwest Territory. β€’ The PSE will be responsible for supporting the territories RCSM and CAM on partnerships with Security and IT Integrators, Building Automation dealers, A&E Firms on client opportunities. β€’ The PSE reports to the Global Channel Support Manager, however we are looking for independent leaders who are self-managing. β€’ Support new customer relationships both within partner and end-user communities. β€’ Help achieve sales, profitability, and customer recruitment objectives and represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers within their region(s). β€’ Co-develop materials and conduct training for company products for the channel. β€’ Proactively drive and manage the technology phase of the sales process, and reporting. β€’ Support our 3rd party technology integration partners with training and product understanding on combined solutions. β€’ Co-develop presentation material with the sales team and perform technical presentations to the channel and end-users. β€’ Drive proof of concept and registered projects with the sales team including providing end of evaluation reports illustrating product and experience value alongside sales team to assist in project close. β€’ Liaise between helpdesk, sales and the channel on technical questions which arise during the sales process. β€’ Technical support and set up at trade shows. β€’ This position requires travel to trade shows, conferences, and client locations.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ 3+ years of experience in one of the following: Sales, Engineering, or Solutions Architecture β€’ Bachelors Degree preferred β€’ Equipped in providing business-to-business technology/physical security technical support environment with a track record of success β€’ Proficient knowledge of security and/or building automation products is a plus β€’ Familiarity with cloud-based enterprise systems, IoT and Machine Learning a plus β€’ Experience with supporting enterprise solutions β€’ Effective understanding and experience with the corporate culture, environment, and decision processes β€’ Strong verbal and written communication skills β€’ Ability to express technical concepts in simplified ways β€’ Independent, self-disciplined and a problem solver β€’ Helpful attitude and team centric, accountable, and takes initiative β€’ Ability to travel up to 25% of the time within the designated region
