• Responsible for public safety design and implementation of solutions for Motorola’s ASTRO 25 • Work with a field team on assigned projects • Lead technical aspects of the assigned project until system acceptance • Design and implementation of the radio network including infrastructure, subscribers, mobile backhaul and WAN and CEN networks. • High level of customer and consultant interaction. • System buildout, configuration and acceptance testing in both lab staging and field environments. • Radio coverage testing, frequency analysis and interference mitigation. • Preparation of system fleet map, encryption and radio programming templates. • Complete system documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or technical discipline and 6+ years of engineering or technical experience OR 8 years of engineering or technical experience • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. • Certifications a plus through CompTIA Network+, Juniper JNCIA-Junos, Nokia NRS1, CCNA or similar a plus.
