Description

• Internships last 10-12 weeks in Precision Genetics group • Involvement in projects related to human genetic and genomic datasets • Develop statistical and computational methods/pipelines • Support validation efforts including bioinformatic analysis of sequencing

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Biological Sciences or related field • Graduate students (MS or PhD) are encouraged to apply • Available to work full-time for 9-12 weeks beginning in May or June 2024 • Excellent academic achievement and analytical ability • Demonstrated superior communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment • Interests/experience in molecular biology, oncology, immunology, cardiometabolism, ophthalmology, neuroscience, cell biology, or bioinformatics • Experience with R or Python programming languages, analysis of bulk or single cell datasets, and analysis of other high-throughput screening modalities
