Description

• Define the strategy and roadmap for risk infrastructure and technologies used at Mudflap • Partner with Engineering and Data Science to develop and execute a test-driven Machine Learning (ML) strategy for risk mitigation • Act as the voice of the customer when it comes to risk tools and design, gathering direct feedback from customers • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand and define the risk strategy and optimize risk operations • Understand customers’ and external partners’ risk needs, and work with internal product owners to deliver effective risk tools across all product areas (mobile/web apps, API’s, etc) • Be the subject matter expert on both external and internal fraud platforms and tools when it comes to KYB, identity, and fraud • Synthesize complex information and strategic requirements, write clear requirements, and communicate effectively to technical and non-technical business partners • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch, and be accountable for ongoing success criteria and metrics

Requirements

• A proven track record of building and scaling successful products • An understanding of what it takes to drive product development for both mobile app and web products in a fast-paced environment • Enthusiasm for solving difficult technical challenges and delivering outcomes that improve customers’ lives • A data-savvy mindset with the SQL skills to complement it • An understanding of fraud patterns in eCommerce & FinTech products • A detail-oriented approach to conducting deep dives into emerging fraud trends and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies • The mindset that the best products are built through collaboration.
