📋 Description

• Oversee all daily accounting operations. • Provide timely and accurate financial reporting. • Develop and enforce policies and procedures. • Establish and maintain internal controls. • Provide strategic financial guidance to leadership. • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). • Lead the implementation of new accounting policies and procedures. • Ensure comprehensive, accurate and timely financial statements and reports. • Develop and implement internal controls to minimize financial risks. • Coordinate successful internal and external audits. • Hire, train, manage and develop accounting staff.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting finance or related field. • 7 - 10 years of relevant experience performing duties and responsibilities including previous supervisory experience. • 3+ years management experience preferred. • C.P.A. required; MBA preferred. • Effective verbal and written communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. • Strong working knowledge of GAAP accounting and general accounting concepts. • Strong desire to continuously research and implement ideas to improve accounting activities. • Ability to develop strong working relationships with cross functional partners to drive success of organization. • Significant experience using MS Office suite, internet-based software and Accounting or ERP software. SAP is a plus.
