• Ollie was born with the mission of improving the lives of pets and pet parents nationwide. • We make human-grade pet food, tailored for each dog’s nutritional needs, and deliver directly to our customers’ doors. • Through Ollie’s carefully crafted meals and health services for members, dogs can truly live their healthiest, happiest lives. • As a member of our growing team, you’ll take part in a company culture that cares deeply about its work and its team members. • Ollie is looking for a 6-month Packaging Engineer co-op to join our Science Team and contribute to the development of innovative, sustainable, and high-quality packaging solutions for our products. • The Packaging co-op will work closely with the Packaging Engineering Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams in operations, quality, product development, and member experience. • This role offers hands-on experience in packaging design, testing, and optimization, making it ideal for students pursuing a degree in Packaging Science, Engineering, or a related field who are eager to gain real-world experience in the consumer goods industry. • This role is based remotely and will report to the Packaging Engineering Manager. • 25% travel will be required.
• You are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Packaging Science, Materials Engineering or a related field. • You have a minimum 3.0 overall GPA. • You have strong analytical and problem solving skills. • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. • You can successfully work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Familiarity with packaging testing methods and equipment is a plus. • You are detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. • You demonstrate intellectual curiosity, innovation, and initiative. • You are comfortable working in a technology-driven, late-stage startup environment. • You are passionate about Ollie’s mission and are eager to apply your skills to improve the lives of pets and their parents.
