📋 Description

• The Myriad Technology organization is looking for a Data Governance Specialist passionate about driving consistency and understanding for an organization. • The position will help our data and analytics practice drive data literacy across the organization by providing and enforcing a framework of consistency in data definitions and management and aligning key terminology within the company. • Informing the establishing of processes and policies for change management and functional review will be a primary responsibility of the role as well as driving clarity and consistency across Myriad’s data ecosystem. • As the Data Governance Specialist, you will receive daily direction from the Data Governance Team Lead1. • The ideal candidate for this position will effectively implement frameworks and tools for reference by key individuals throughout the organization while facilitating the efforts to standardize data definitions and use.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a business or quantitative subject (e.g., computer science, mathematics, engineering, science, economics, or finance) • 2+ years in data governance or data management. • Experience in consulting or client management (including roles such as Data Analyst or Operations Support). • Experience in an industry-recognized governance platforms (Informatica, Reltio, Boomi, etc.) • Experience in order management systems (i.e. Salesforce), visual analytics software (i.e. Looker), SQL-based data management (i.e. Snowflake), flowchart software (i.e. Lucid), project management systems (i.e. Jira), code collaboration platforms (i.e. GitHub), and cloud-based Office programs. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an obsessive attention to detail • Good stakeholder management experience. Comfortable presenting to technical and non-technical leadership.
