Description

• Architect and build a system for testing across all of our different teams and services. • Work collaboratively with all Ziff Davis engineering teams to help them craft a testing strategy for their own systems. • Write automated end-to-end tests to help test across our entire system. • Write documentation and lead knowledge sharing to give engineers the tools to write their own end-to-end tests. • Participate in product reviews and team meetings, providing technical insight. • Help scope, estimate, and prioritize between competing priorities. • Work cross-functionally to build new automation frameworks, tools, and scripts to operate our workflows at scale. • Evaluate new technologies and approaches to streamline and improve every facet of our SDLC. • Participate in the maintenance and troubleshooting of existing automation frameworks. • Work to reduce the time it takes to run CI, even as we continue to add additional tests. • Continue to grow your skill set and knowledge. Requirements

• 5+ years as a Test Automation Engineer. • Extensive experience in mobile automation testing for both Android and iOS platforms using tools such as Appium, Xamarin.UITest, or similar. • Strong experience with cloud web and mobile testing platforms. • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, .NET Core, and .NET MAUI. • Familiarity with our tech stack: .NET, .NET Core, Sitefinity, Vue, React, and MS SQL. • Good knowledge of OAuth and AWS. • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and automated API testing. • Proven experience building end-to-end testing strategies from the ground up, including deploying infrastructure and orchestrating tests. • Experience working within agile software development processes. • Ability to operate and enhance scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems. • Skill in refactoring and applying software design patterns to optimize and improve automation scripts. • Experience developing automation for microservice-based distributed systems with high availability, throughput, fault tolerance, and performance. • Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and AWS Code Deploy. • Familiarity with Jira for bug tracking. • Enthusiastic about moving towards a continuous deployment model that heavily relies on automated testing.
