Description

•NASA Federal Credit Union is in search of an experienced Consumer Lending Quality Assurance Auditor to maintain a current working knowledge of all consumer loan policies and procedures. •Conduct quality control audits of the third-party loans to ensure accuracy and compliance with the Credit Union’s underwriting, funding, and corporate polices. •Assist the Consumer Lending team with timely and accurate decision making of consumer lending products. •Apply quality assurance practices to validate loan data, examine documentation obtained, identify loan fraud risks, and assess the initial evaluation/mitigation of risk. •Provide analysis of results and regular monthly feedback on audit findings to management through developed reports with recommendations for any deeper audits and/or program evaluations. •Proficiently utilize audit software to assist in quality assurance analysis and reporting for all third-party originators.

Requirements

•Degree in a relevant field preferred. •Five or more years of consumer lending underwriting experience or equivalent is required with increasing level of responsibility. •Knowledge of standard consumer lending products, policy/procedures, and regulations is essential. •Works under general supervision.
