📋 Description

• The Revenue Cycle Medical Records Case Manager will facilitate medical records collection and client outreach. • Offer expert review and interpretation on a case-by-case basis. • Maintain collaborative relationships within the organization relating to Revenue Cycle Management. • Successfully obtain necessary medical documentation by collaborating with billing operations and clinic medical records departments. • Thorough understanding of applicable CMS, state, and insurer medical policy. • Navigate electronic medical records including EPIC. • Review provider progress notes and charts to identify critical data points summarizing medical necessity. • Cultivate ongoing relationships with departments impacting revenue cycle performance. • Participate in meetings and reviews to evaluate metrics and performance opportunities. • Ensure compliance with department procedures and document activities appropriately. • Complete training related to HIPAA and PHI privacy as it requires access to Patient Health Information (PHI).

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience, including health care administration, case management, nursing, oncology/transplant clinic, medical billing/coding, appeals, and denials management and/or insurance collections. • Bachelor's Degree (BS, LPN, RN, BSN, BSHA). • Healthcare related field of study or equivalent experience (Clinical Case Managers).
