📋 Description
• The Sr Translational Medical Scientist partners with clinicians and KOLs to apply genomic data in healthcare. • Focuses on developing products for early cancer detection. • Involves collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners. • Requires building and expanding a team to meet company needs.
🎯 Requirements
• Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Cancer Biology, Genetics, or equivalent required. • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience. • Deep scientific understanding or education background in oncology. • Specific experience with circulating nucleic acids and early cancer detection methods preferred. • Knowledgeable and experienced in the use and optimization of novel technologies. • Working knowledge of basic bioinformatics and genomics sequencing analysis techniques. • Knowledge of data mining and statistical analysis tools such as R, SQL, or Stata is a plus. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills needed.
