Description

• Staff Software Engineer will develop a scalable platform for clinical assays. • Design and build systems integrating software, automation, and biology. • Collaborate with scientists to create high-scale robust workflows. • Interface with internal teams for seamless software integration. • Analyze existing applications and propose improvements. • Lay the foundation for automated laboratory systems at Natera.

Requirements

• BA/BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering (or similar field). • 8 or more years of experience with software development. • Demonstrated track record of shipping complex projects in production. • Ability to integrate a variety of instruments, such as liquid handlers, plate readers, and plate-handling robotics. • Experience writing software for complex hardware and instrumentation. • Experience with system architecture and design. • Experience with a cloud computing provider such as AWS, GCP, Azure, etc. • Familiar with software development practices. • Strong project management skills, organizational skills, and written and verbal communication skills. • Experience working with LIMS systems integration is a plus.
